The Michael Caine Muppet was created as a thank you gift from the Jim Henson Company to Michael Caine after filming was completed on The Muppet Christmas Carol. It has never been seen in any Henson production. The puppet caricatures Caine, with a replica of the actor's real-life glasses, while otherwise costumed in character as Ebenezer Scrooge in his best dressing gown.
