Squidhat is used by Toadblatt to allocate his new students to the school's various houses. He also appears to be a singer and guitarist. He makes his first appearance in "Toadblatt's School of Sorcery". After sending the first three students to Gunderstank, he sends Billy and Mandy (who threatens him should he touch her by saying she's "in the mood for calamari") to Weaselthorp. He makes his second appearance in "Nigel Planter and the Chamber Pot of Secrets" as Nigel's voodoo class teacher. His third appearance is "One Crazy Summoner". He and Toadblatt get married.
