P.S. is a mech somewhere between an A.M.W.S. and an E.S. In Xenosaga I & II, it is revealed that Hermann's and Richard's A.M.W.S., Scutum and Pilum, are "borrowing" the Vessels of Anima from the U-TIC Organization mechs, E.S. Joseph and E.S. Gad, respectively. As such, these new mechs, neither A.M.W.S. nor E.S., are now dubbed P.S. Joseph and P.S. Gad.
