House Dyan was a Jacksonian House, probably Minor. They'd done work in genetic engineering, and produced a dance troupe of mermaids (and stage hands) before they were forcibly taken over by House Ryoval and set to different work. The destruction of House Dyan occurred a few years before the events of Mirror Dance.
