Kallaisen is a wizard of quite high repute. It was he who founded the Lex Arcanis several years ago, taking several apprentices for training, and apointing Amir Sarifar and Jullafield Myzel as Masters of the Lex. He was involved in several events around Frostkeep, including the exposure of Evana Marlson's treachery, the recapture of Fortress Sarwick, and the clearing of the Frostkeep Iron Mine which eventually fell to Boili Rockmug for ownership. He has since left on a pilgrimage and has never returned. Several members of the Lex Arcanis believe him to never return, although many more people still hold out hope. Some speculate that he disappeared into his tower just like Talonir Riv, "as wizards tend to do so", and now that the tower is destroyed, he can never come back.
