Anakin Skywalker was born on an unknown planet to Shmi Skywalker, a slave, and no father. He was born through the force, becoming its physical embodiment due to an experiment by the Sith Lord Darth Plagueis. At the age of three, he and his mother moved to Tatooine, and became the slaves of Gardulla the Hutt. Not much is known about Anakin’s early years under Gardulla, just that he spent much of his time flying, learning early on the intricacies of flight and becoming an adept pilot.
