Hooker Hood (April 9, 1926 - December 24, 2012 ) is a former NASCAR driver from Memphis, TN. He competed in five Sprint Cup Series events in his career. Hood's career got going in 1954, when he debuted at LeHi. Starting positions in the field of fifty-one are unknown, but Hood had a respectable, midpack day. He wound up finishing 31st. Hood also competed at North Wilkesboro later in the year, improving to a 14th place finish.
