The Coruscant equatorial belt was an area of the planet of Coruscant in the Core Worlds region. In the year 20 BBY the area was considered prestigious by the Sakiyan Republic navy Admiral Tarnese Bleyd who planned to purchase an apartment at the top of a monad in the equatorial belt using money from working with the Black Sun criminal organization.
