At the age of 10 her powers showed themselves, due to the stress of her parents going through a divorce. She accidently caused an earthquake that shook her house and broke several things. Once her parents were divorced, her mother couldn't take the heartache and poisoned herself, thus Sonnet went to live with her father. Her father had become dependant on his drinking and started abusing her, in many ways. When she was 16 she finally ran away from him to live on her own where ever she could. She heard a year later that he had finally died. Now at the age of 22 she still has no permanant home or job, she simply wanders and does what she can for money.
