The Snake Eater (Abstracted Camouflage) Single is a limited edition single released to promote the main theme and announcement of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. It was handed out to everyone who attended Konami's panel at E3 2004 under the catalogue number KCEJ-0002. Its appearance is of a vinyl record and slip to give off a more 1960s feel since the actual game is set in the early '60s. Despite its appearance, it's not really a vinyl record, but rather a CD single in a large cardboard slip cover mimicking a record. This CD single is now considered rare and a collector's item.
