An employee of the Union Aerospace Corporation, Joe Moss worked at the Alpha Labs on Mars. Of all Alpha Labs workers, he had exceptionally bad luck. According to Ari Braden, Moss had his arms and legs hacked off by the Albuquerck Capacitator which "growled" and engaged by itself, "without power or a CRF module". His hair also burst in flames. Adding insult to injury, the incident earned him the nickname "TorsoBoy".
