Maximillian was an enigmatic companion of the Doctor. A former engineer working in the moon-city of Lom, he reluctantly turned his technological prowess into crafting weaponry when Lom became ravaged in the Cyber-Wars. Losing his legs and a majority of his sanity, he became a cyborg hermit living in solitude on the desolate planet. Rescuing the Doctor and Alice Ashdown from ravenous Vagabonds, he swiftly became a companion - wanting to sate his desire for knowledge by seeing the universe.
