The Freiheit-class is an escort carrier model based off of the hull of the Sacheen-class Light Escort Mark II. The two share many parts to further simply logistics, and externally appear to be almost identical, save for the lack of weaponry on the Freiheit. Instead, the Freiheit has relatively vast hangars capable of not only comfortably holding the heaviest starfighters of the Republic, but also come complete with extensive repair and servicing abilities. This includes a machine shop with a molecular furnace capable of making parts, and given enough time, whole starfighters. Like the Sacheen Mark II, the Freiheit has many launch tubes capable of magnetically accelerating starfighters into space.
