The Kolatill Defense Force was the primary military organization of the planet Kolatill in the Kathol sector of the Outer Rim Territories. The unit was formed in 8 ABY after the planet's population overthrew the local Imperial governor, Tetrum, and declared its allegiance to the New Republic following the successful liberation of the sector capital Kal'Shebbol from the forces of warlord Moff Kentor Sarne. Consisting of six TIE/LN starfighters, the Defense Force was charged with the protection of the world.
