The Scottish cuisine has a long and interesting history, and many would be surprised to hear where some of the popular modern day Scottish dishes originated from. Different dishes and ingredients such as Aberdeen Angus Beef, Highland venison, Loch Fyne seafood, Ayrshire cheeses or Clyde valley soft fruits are often present in the Scotish cuisine.
