Play It Safe is a single by American-French hip hop group Cityboyz, featuring guest vocals from American singers Rachel Layton and Joshua Riverra. The song was released as the lead single from Cityboyz's debut album In The City. A solo version of the song was supposed to appear on the group's EP Cicada, but when it was cut, the group remixed it to feature Layton and Riverra. The song was given positive reviews upon release, many complimenting the electronic sound the song has, praising the choice as a lead single, as well as Layton's vocals on the chorus and Riverra's unexpected appearance in the song.
