Lucius Porter (d. 27 Dec 1992) was a detective with the Los Angeles Police Department Hollywood Division. After the partnership of Jerry Edgar and Harry Bosch was temporarily dissolved in May of 1991, Edgar was reassigned by Harvey Pounds to work with Porter, who Edgar described as "a burned-out lush" who was a member at The Parrot. Porter was later found in the Sunshine Canyon Landfill in the Santa Susana Mountains, having been strangled to death by Osvaldo Arpis Rafaelillo.
