Tahsin Yazıcı (1892 in Monastir, Ottoman Empire (Now: Macedonia) – February 11, 1971 in Ankara, Turkey) was an Ottoman Army officer, a Turkish Army general and politician. He was born to his father Ali Bey and his mother Ganimet Hanım in Monastir (present-day Bitola) in 1892. He was recorded in Kefçedede wards, Üsküdar District of Istanbul Province. He entered to the Ottoman Military Academy on November 1, 1909 and graduated from academy as Second Lieutenant on March 1, 1912. After graduation, he served during the First World War at Gallipoli and he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on March 1, 1916.
