Ann McManus held numerous positions on Coronation Street. She served as story associate, script editor, deputy story editor and story editor. She worked predominantly under producer Brian Park. After leaving the Street, McManus continued her association with Brian Park and former Street writer Maureen Chadwick, creating and writing popular series' Bad Girls, Footballers' Wives and Waterloo Road.
