By the early 2010's, it became clear that the United Nations had to reform. The G4 Nations were demanding places, and so, on January 1st 2015, two new members were admitted into the Security Council by popular vote. Germany and Japan were forced to wait for a new resolution as Brazil and India became permanent members of the Security Council.
