In 1984, Carol directed Academy Award nominee David Paymer in "The Best Man", a play written by David and his brother Steve Paymer. Carol was engaged to Steve at the time. In Maneaters Are Loose! (1978) (TV), Carol was actually up the tree (not a stunt person) as the Tiger leapt at her feet. She's the daughter of James Jones (a WWII Army Air Corps pilot) and Mary Jean Cunningham (a teacher).
