Airten was a Human male sergeant of the Bespin Wing Guard, the main security force of Cloud City on the gas giant Bespin, during the Galactic Civil War. A burly Wing Guard member, his large size prevented him from becoming a pilot; however, joining the Wing Guard, Airten's nonstandard build did not matter to Lando Calrissian, the city's Baron Administrator. Airten was a sympathizer of the Alliance to Restore the Republic.
