The goblin is the first-tier creature of the Barbarian faction in Heroes of Might and Magic II. Goblins are recruited from huts, and do not possess an upgraded version. Goblins can also be recruited from the goblin hut on the adventure map. The goblin is one of the better first-tier creatures, and quite useful in large numbers. Their average speed makes it possible to include them in mid-game combat.
