A starship weapon system designed for long-range bombardments. The Archer Torpedo System is a weapon first mounted onto Destroyers in the Citadel Navy. The Archer system is composed of up to ten missile pods that hold rocket-propelled torpedos. The Archer has a unique computer system that allows it to lock-on to large cruiser-sized targets and larger. These torpedos are preferably Arrowhead Torpedos because of their longer range, spped, and effective destructive capacity. The Archer system can launch each torpedo simultaneosly or individually into a single or multiple different targets.
