As Canon Slade is a Performing arts school, music is important there. We have some good technology for music with computers linking to keyboards which is good for when you are composing music. We also have Sibelius and Q-base which are music programmes that are useful for composition. When you study music you learn theory and about how music has developed like how baroque became classical, classical became romantic etc. At the moment we're doing minimalism. Alot of my class seem to hate it but I really like it! At Canon Slade we have lots of bands for people of different standards on their instrument.
