Any bushi who wields Shukujo may use the Doji Courtier up to a rank equal to their own school rank. If the wielder is a courtier or artisan they may use the Kakita Iaijutsu school up to a rank equal to their own school rank. These ranks may only be used while the blade is in their possession. The incredible balance of the blade also means the wielder has the first chance to strike in a duel, no matter who calls for the strike.
