Amon Rin Theron was the younger half-brother of Dylas Rin Theron. He was kidnapped by bandits who Dylas used as a means to get rid of thieves and other lowlifes in Ravensworth. Amon was poisoned by Dylas who used Amon's death as a means to rally the people of Eastern Remon behind him, seize their cousin Zaranec's fortune and get rid of the Ravensworth Thieves' Guild.
