Nightwing tangles with Tarantula, whom he now knows to be responsible for Chief Redhorn's death, while Maxine Michaels receives a tip-off that Tad Ryerstad is responsible for the deaths of both Redhorn and Dudley Soames. She meets Ryerstad, who confesses to killing Soames, but not Redhorn. Nightwing is drugged by Tarantula, who is met by her employer, Blockbuster. And Maxine shows Amy Rohrbach the Ryerstad story she's about to publish.
