The Roocaria Expanse is a very large area of space near the Shiss Sector . The complete lack of stellar phenomenon and the presence of sensor obscuring gases and particles makes navigation in this area practically impossible. Although Telians have partially mapped the areas of the Expanse that are closest to their sector, much of this space is still unknown. This makes it a popular subject for tales of mystical beasts and monsters.
