The Communist Pary was swept from power in 1945, following the crushing German Victories. The party leadership fled to the Urals, and vowed to continue the struggle. Since then, the Communist party has led the endless guerrilla war in the east. However the partizans are not strong enough to Liberate Russia, and their attacks are seen as mere annoyances by Germany.
