Hot Rod is a Autobot Scout. When the war began Hot Rod dreamed of being an Autobot soldier. Hot Rod joined the Autobot Academy as a young and ignorant bot. He later became mature during his time in the academy and once he graduated he joined Ratchet's sector. Hot Rod is a very ignorant bot who at times annoys his fellow comrades but he is a courageous bot as well.
