Empty Socks is a cartoon starring Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, released in 1927. It is notably the first Christmas-themed film produced by Walt Disney. The concept of the short would later be reused for the Mickey Mouse short Mickey's Orphans. Long thought to be a lost film, a nitrate print was discovered in the Norwegian National Library in 2014, albeit with about a minute of missing footage.
