Xerxes was a Carrack-class light cruiser that saw service with the Imperial Navy. Along with its sister ship Nexus and the Victory-class Star Destroyer Vagrant, the Xerxes attempted to stop the Defiance Task Force from rendezvousing with the Alliance Fleet at Sullust. However, the Imperial force was held at bay by a unit of A-wing starfighters. Two of the fighters were piloted by Olin Garn and Ace Azzameen.
