Sergeant Alec Peters was a police officer in the long running ITV drama The Bill. He arrived at Sun Hill in the first episode of the first series all the way back in 1984 and had his final time at the station in February 1992 after a stabbing incident which made him take a desk job to see out the rest of his days in the force. His callsign was 96.
