A Supervisor on Laboratory Wiki is an editor entrusted with dispute resolution and patroller rights. Supervisors provide the "first line" of administrative authority, and should be contacted first in the event of a dispute or other issue that requires admin attention. Supervisors do not possess full administrative privleges, meaning any issue they cannot resolve must be taken to a Manager, who has full administrative privleges, and can take any necessary steps. While their main role is to assist editors in improving and expanding the wiki, Supervisors are also in charge of identifying editors as candidates for administrative positions. Editors can be promoted to Supervisor only by a Manager or an Executive Director.
