If the discharge does not have any peculiar smell then it might be just a common vaginal yeast infection. Those are easily treated by an over the counter cream like Monistat. Although bothersome, vaginal yeast infections are not necesarily threatening if you take care of them properly. If you can smell the discharge then it might be a far more dangerous situation, you may have an infection or an STD disease. You should see an OB/GYN if you can smell any foul odor.
