Australian Lawyers Surfing Association is a national organisation with chapters in various states and regions within Australia. Founded in 2004, by Peter Strain and Phillip Konstan, ALSA serves as a peak body for Australian surfing lawyers to share the stoke of surfing. The organisation aims to contribute to the education of its members by organising educational conferences each year. Their members assist "not for profit" groups involved in the surfing community and other groups interested in matters concerning the ocean and its environment. Through its charitable arm, ALSA aims to assist approved projects or charities.
