A General Strike is a situation where numerous unions of various workers begin refusing to work, angering Conservatives and causing the GDP to fall. The main cause of general strikes are a mediocre Average Income and high rates of Poverty and/or Unemployment. The best ways of pleasing the strikers is to change the nation's Labour Laws to favor employers or to directly fight against poverty and unemployment.
