The Fishing Hook is a quest item from The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. It is part of the trading quest for the Magnifying Lens and can be found in two different locations, depending on how far in the game Link is. Grandma Ulrira can always be seen sweeping with a broom, first outside Ulrira's house in Mabe Village, and later in Animal Village. She has worn her broom down until it does not sweep well anymore. If Link gives her Mr. Write's Broom, she gives him a Fishing Hook that she found while she was sweeping by the river bank. The Fishing Hook can, in turn, be traded to the Fisherman in exchange for the Necklace.
