Seneca Valley school budget raises taxes, cuts positions April 12, 2011, By Sandy Trozzo The Seneca Valley school board approved a preliminary budget in April 2011 that cuts a total of 31.5 positions and raises taxes by 5.6 mills. The $94 million spending plan. The budget cuts and fees were approved by a 6-3 vote with board members Eric Gordon, Sally Hanley, Jeanette Lahm, Anthony Storti, and Jason Wehrle and board President Robert Hill Jr. voting in favor. Eric DiTullio, Joseph Scalamogna and James Welsh voted against the items.
