The Jedi Army, formerly known as the Grand Imperial Army, and the Clone Army of the Galactic Republic was the army of the Galactic Republic Federation, until the Galactic Dark War,which was fought against the Galactic Imperial Core Federation. It was restored as the Jedi Army after the Liberation Wars with the founding of the Galactic Republic of the Jedi.
