Roaraway is a small, rocky, heavily-fortified island in the Nonestic Ocean. Its stones and walls have a characteristic reddish color. Its inhabitants have been at war with their neighbors on the island of Norroway for centuries, through nine generations of the ruling family. Radj the Red, the most recent ruler of Roaraway, one possessed a water gun so powerful that it could sink an island with a single blast. Radj never used the gun against his enemies on Norroway, however — for then he would have been left with no one to fight. (Speedy in Oz)
