Kagebōshi-hen (影紡し編, Silhouette Chapter) is a new chapter in Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kizuna: Dai Ni Kan "Sō". This version of Onisarashi-hen is told through the eyes of Minai Tomoe, a policewoman that is investigating the strange occurrences happening all over Japan. Akasaka Mamoru and Ōishi Kuraudo are present in this chapter, as well as Tomoe's younger sister, Minai Madoka who is also a police officer, and another male officer, Fujita Shingo.
