The Towers of the Eyes overlooked the River of Gold, to promptly warn of any invasion fleet. They were built during the time the Crab Clan occupied Ryoko Owari Toshi. A strong cord could be strung between them in time of war and it was a fire platform. There were tales of a tunnel under the river between the two towers.
