Meso (メソ Meso) was one of Spike's Soldiers; a gang which took control of Sabaody Archipelago's Grove 22 for a time. It was lead by the gang's founder and former leader, Spike, who is a childhood friend of Meso's, along with Maya and Boris. Along with his fellow gang members, Meso helped Jolly D. Chris and Spike escape capture from the Marines after the chaos Spike caused previously. Given the way Meso behaves and is treated by the others, it appears he is the second in command of Spike's Soldiers.
