2-handed Swords are melee weapons which cannot be used with a shield. They have the highest damage per second of all weapons in their metal categories (only the dragon axe and dragon sword are better). All 2-handed swords can be made with the smithing skill. Gaius' Two Handed Shop, Gulluck and Sons, and King Lathas' Weaponry Shop also sell 2-handed swords from bronze to adamantite, but the Rune 2-handed sword can only be obtained through smithing or monster drops.
