Opening Ceremony is a fashion retailer with stores in New York City, Los Angeles and Tokyo. The boutique stores combine retail space with fashion showrooms to highlight creative designers. In 2011, as a tie-in promotion for the release of The Muppets, Opening Ceremony sold a line of Muppet sweaters, hoodies and t-shirts, printed with illustrations of Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo and Animal.
