The Black armour (t) scam is a scam that involves switching a piece of trimmed black armour with a corresponding untrimmed piece. A buyer offers a trade with a player selling a piece of Black (t) armour. The seller then takes it away, and puts in a normal Black item. Normal and trimmed black armour can rather difficult for people to tell apart. The buyer, unable to tell the difference, puts in a reasonable amount of money and both click accept. The buyer is scammed. This may be reported under Honour using the 'Scamming' option (formerly Rule 2). This scam temporarily vanished with the update on 2 January 2008 that removed unbalanced trade, but has returned as of 1 February 2011 with the return of free trade.
