“The Power of One”, CMT One Country’s campaign launched in November of 2006, aims to mobilize one million volunteers across the United States. Efforts to encourage volunteerism include original public service announcements, segments on CMT programming including CMT Insider and CMT Top 20 Countdown, partnering with Habitat for Humanity during CMT GIANTS: REBA (Reba McEntire) as well as a partnership with Global Youth Service America with Taylor Swift as the representative in 2007. The partnership with Global Youth Service America will continue during 2008 with American Idol and Gone Country star, Diana DeGarmo for Global Youth Service Day.
