The Algolian Suntiger is an animal from the star system around Algol. The tooth from this animal is part of the recipe for a quality Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster. It "spreads the fires of the Algolian suns deep into the heart of the drink". Ford Prefect is capable of giving glares that would scare an Algolian Suntiger, at least in defence of his own drinks.
